Educational Workshop – WoodWorks® Software
This 1-day workshop will allow attendees to participate in designing wood members from bending to lateral design by utilizing the Canadian Wood Council’s WoodWorks® software. Registered attendees will be provided with temporary access to the current version of the WoodWorks® programs to work through the provided examples. This workshop is designed for structural engineers.
Topics covered in this workshop include:
- Design for bending members
- Design in Compression members
- Lateral load design
- Connection design

WHAT TO BRING: Attendees are required to bring a laptop pre-loaded with the most current version of WoodWorks® Software. You will be emailed a PDF of the download instructions on March 14, if you do not receive an email by the end of day on March 14, please contact Rory Koska at rkoska@wood-works.ca or 780-604-9059 as soon as possible.
