The AlbSix Storey's in Wooderta Mid-rise Opportunity Information Workshop

Wednesday,  July 15, 2015

Don’t miss this comprehensive, one-day educational event that will discuss the 2015 National Code change permitting wood-frame mid-rise construction. We will be taking a look at fire protection, acoustic, structural, building envelope for these buildings. Learn best practices from mid-rise experienced practitioners from BC, where mid-rise wood frame buildings have been permitted since 2009. Join us to learn the differences between nine metre and six storey construction through case studies of realized projects.
The Alberta Mid-rise Opportunity Information workshop will provide up-to-date information for Developers, Designers, Contractors, Project Managers, Government and Code Officials on the wood-frame mid-rise opportunity.
Full program details will follow shortly. This is a one day event with one hour sessions on the different considerations for six storey construction.
