King David High School is a building of mixed construction that includes concrete block, glulam columns and beam, cedar siding and wood paneling. There is a strong relationship between the mixture of materials, but wood is the most important because it injects warmth and humanizes the building through its measured use of wood. The natural, tactile materiality of wood appeals to people’s senses, psyche and imagination.

Approximately 35,000 square feet of classrooms, gymnasium, library, cafeteria, Judaic studies, computer, art, home economics and science labs, administration and outdoor play areas provide a positive learning environment for students in Grades 8 to 12.
