The North Cariboo Community Campus (NCCC) is a new college facility in the town of Quesnel, situated in north-central British Columbia. NCCC is a partnership between the College of New Caledonia, the University of Northern British Columbia and the local School District #28. This new college campus provides expanded facilities from which integrated post-secondary educational services are offered to the community. The facility includes a variety of classroom and laboratory spaces, library, cafeteria, multi-purpose area, and administrative functions. The new facility is a two-storey building, (47,300 sq. Ft./4,396 sq. metres) in area, and opened in September 2005. Support for local industry was an expressed goal of the client. The facility was designed to maximize the use of locally harvested and milled wood products. The building superstructure was specifically designed to showcase local heavy Douglas fir timbers using a multi-blade column and roof truss system to utilize the locally available log sizes. The building envelope and interior partitions are also of wood frame construction and the exterior cladding is locally harvested Western red cedar. The owner worked extensively with the local mills to provide materials to the contractor which are best suited to the products which each mill produces.

- Wood framing for walls and partitions: locally sourced SPF
- Western red cedar siding, Douglas fir decking
- MDF wall panels. Birch Veneer plywood. Denim pine interior panelling
- Struts for sunshades: Lodge pole pine
